This series prompted a philosophical discussion - sort of - with my young adult daughter (that age group it's supposedly aimed for) Why do authors feel compelled to do the whole love triangle drama in what could otherwise be a decentish urban fantasy/dystopian something or other? And it was going so well....I liked this series, I really did. Me and this series were becoming best of buds. Hanging out together constantly, it always telling me what's it been up to.
