While the writing was beautiful, the grusome subject matter was a little too much for me. On a more technical note, the use of flashbacks was jolting and I never understood the stakes that Jana is fighting for. My idea of hell is ending up in high school when I die so that part was not appealing!
The single minded love in this book creeped me out until I remembered what it was like to be a teenager.
