This book was incredible.The story brings back all the characters from the first book in the series: the Monkeewrench crew, Leo & Gino from the Minneapolis Police Dept. plus the three Wisconsin law enforcement officers: Sharon, Halloran and Bonar. The plot is also a departure from the previous books...
While low on the plausibilty factor this was a grand page turner that takes the woman of the Monkeewrench gang out to the wilds of Wisconsin where they stumble onto a town that is eerily deserted except for all the soldiers pointing m-16s at them.
