So I liked this manga better than death notes. I think that's because in death note, I think the main character, is already starting to take things to far I also want to find out what's going to happen next after the ending of this manga, while I can wait a little bit longer to see what happens nex...
Welp. That was a thing. Honestly, this series was so over the top that while I was certainly getting some enjoyment out of it, the stuff they were doing was just SO stupid ridiculous that I was having a hard time mustering up any real emotional connection. It's been like watching Game of Thrones...
Interesting. It MIGHT be more of a 3.5,im not sure. Some of the earlier narrative stuff lost me on who was speaking. It's an interesting idea though and I'll follow up with the second volume.
Man, people in this are so blase about admitting how massively screwed up they are. And how much they've screwed up the lives of people around them. And how screwed u the place is in general. This volume finally namechecks what the people like our hero are called - Deadmen, to no one's surprise. A...
I'm really on the fence here. I enjoyed this manga, but only after coming to terms with the fact that I needed to shut off certain significant brain areas first.Deadman Wonderland is the name of Japan's only for-profit prison, and in addition to incarcerating prisoners, it also turns them into enter...
Review later. This one made me tear up a little bit.
I think this has been my favorite book so far in the series. Unlike volume 1 and volume 2, this one pretty much captured my interest from the beginning rather than getting more intriguing as I got deeper into the story. We finally find out Yō’s full reasoning behind his actions at Deadman Wonderland...
Spoilers. This manga. This is the second time in a row where this manga started a little slow for me but picked up right before I decided to read something else and come back to it later. It wasn't that I thought the beginning was boring, but I had other books that were starting to get really intere...
Slight spoilers ahead. The story starts with a devastating earthquake hitting Japan, leaving most of Tokyo underwater. Ten years later, 14-year-old Igarashi Ganta is joking around with his friends in class when a mysterious “Red Man” appears and kills everyone in Ganta’s class--except him. Ganta pass...
I like this series - a lot. Too bad Tokyopop went belly up and I'll never get to finish reading it
