Dean Amory was born in Aalst, Flanders, Belgium in 1953 as Edgard (Eddy) Adriaens and grew up in nearby Erembodegem Terjoden. He has been working for 14 years as a sales assistant in local companies (Modernite - Hofstade, Hako - Erpe Mere). Since 1986 he has been working at Belfius Bank, Brussels. His first novel (Marleen, Dagboek van mijn Apenjaren) won the bronze prize for best novel of the month at the World and Universal Academy (july/august 2007).Since then he has published a number books in Dutch (Flemish) under his own name and another series in English, mostly under the pseudonym Dean Amory.Presently, the author is living in Nederhasselt, Ninove, East Flanders, Belgium.
