I felt a little cheated by the title of this book, since the part that includes dying by black hole is close to the end of the book. After listening to that part, however; I understand why this book is called that. It's a very intense and disturbing image. I've listened to another of Tyson's b...

Seems like a collection of essays, but they are collected into larger topics and work well together. Death by Black Hole is only one of them; most are excellent and very accessible to the non-physicist. First I've read from Dr. Tyson; will read more in the near future!

A disturbing amount, as I think about it) and the characters are likable enough- but there's inadequate world-building. I didn't get enough of the backstory t...
