I thought this book was just ok, really. I was impatient with the POV of Alice - who I thought was TSTL. I would have like the story more if more time was spent from the POV of Hamish as I found him to be a likeable and intriguing character. Don't know that I'll read any more.
First book of the Hamish Macbeth series. Although I didn't really warm up to any of the characters and found the plot to be weak, I will give this series another try in the hope that it will get better as I really liked the Scottish Highlands setting.
