Blah. Should be a - (minus) on the 3*s. I've liked the other Hamish Macbeth books I've read. This one felt improbable and trivial. Poor characterization that doesn't make sense.
Not as good as the others in the series.
Like the previous books in the series, this was an easy, enjoyable read. Hamish is a fun character and the plot was pretty decent. Listened to the audio version which was read by Shaun Grindell who did a good job making the Highland accents understandable.
This was the best Hamish Macbeth book so far in the series.
