This fourth volume of Adrien English mysteries keeps up the tradition of the other three. It's two years after the previous book and there's a good mystery, terrific characters and a couple of interesting and important side plots. There's Adrien's mom, his step-sisters, his step father and there's...

After reading the last book, I was angry and didn't think there was anything that Jake could do to redeem himself in my eyes.... I was wrong!

It's been two years since Jake and Adrien have seen each other and it takes another murder to throw them back together. Once again Adrien finds himself smack dab in the middle of the investigation. Understandably this reunion brings back old hurts and anger. His reactions more jaded and cautious a...

Well, actually I started on Thursday. I had read the first Adrien English book back in 2012 and was underwhelmed. I had read it soon after Special Forces, The Administration and Captive Prince, which are tough acts to follow. Because this series gets consistently high marks, I decided to revisit...

Favorite so far! The ending had just the right amount of fairy tale.

Best book of the series so far. The mystery part wasn't that complicated - I had a good idea on who's the murderer from the beginning but I will admit that I doubted myself a couple of times - but the moments between Adrien and Jake were amazing. I think I'm starting to like Jake again, I'm still an...

Oh my gosh, my heart is still fluttering from that ending. Almost cried. I've said it for the previous books, but THIS is truly the best book in the series. I especially LOVED Josh Lanyon's writing in this one... such beautiful prose, I had to stop and re-read certain sections all over again. Sigh.....
