I liked it fine - a little less than the first installment. The reason lies solely in the romance. I just liked Ridge and Sardelle a lot as a couple and found the way their relationship progressed much more enjoyable. Tolemek or Deathmaker is certainly an interesting character, but the Cas remaine...
