As a writer I am fascinated by the first half of the last century and I always thought that I would never write about the present day unless I came across something magical. Well I did! Late in 2003 I discovered BookCrossing, the wonderful online book club. From that novel came Crossing Paths. I am also the author of Tomaree, a WWII love story set in Port Stephens, New South Wales, Australia about an Australian GI war bride. You'll find more about both books on my webpage. I am a booklover, bookcrosser and firm believer in synchronicity. There is no such thing as coincidence!I will shortly begin submitting my manuscript The Grey Silk Purse set in Mayfield in 1920 and am also working on a screenplay set in a harbourside suburb in 1937. I blog about the writing life and have just begun a new manuscript set in Sydney in the 1920s.
