Debbonnaire Kovacs sold her first story at the age of eleven, and now has over 600 published stories and articles. She has also written 25 books on a variety of (mostly inspirational and mostly nonfiction) topics; however most of these were what is called "work-for-hire" and are not easily accessible to the public. Some are available here. (She also ghost-wrote a book, but she can't tell you about it!)Her first love, though, is fiction. Her first novel, Gaela's Gardens, came out in 2012, and her second, Seacliffe, came out in early 2015. She claims to have excuses for procrastination which are much more useful than those of most authors, since she takes care of four acres containing vegetable, fruit, flower, and herb gardens, plus livestock, poultry, and pets!She also spins, weaves, knits, crochets, tats, makes bobbin lace, and other forms of "playing with string."
