3.5 stars. A dark and compelling read but oh so looong, I admit to skimming the schmoopier sections. Casino owner Jensen (26) takes Jared (22) as a sub in payment for his father's gambling debt. Jensen proceeds to treat Jared abominably but finds himself falling for the kid.
