I really didn't care much for this one, despite the interesting start -- a prominent general is killed when he falls over a bannister and impales himself on the halberd of a suit of armour. But lack of action, and endless repitition made this one a real chore to get through. Not recommended except f...
Another great Monk tale by Anne Perry!
To be totally honest with the reader of this review, I am not sure why I gave this book 4 stars at the time...I am coming back and writing the review for it and remember very little of the book..which means to me that the book wasn't that great..if I can't remember more than a smidgen.
