2.5*The dog was cute, but the rest fell sort of flat for me.I felt I was being 'told' the story and not 'shown' and I really didn't see any attraction between the MC's.On a side note, unless I am mistaking there is no ' bad discharge' from the military only a 'bad conduct discharge'.
