I'm debating whether this is 3.5 or 4 solid stars. Review to Come.
No rating. I listened to the audio and only lasted about 15 minutes. Not a single laugh during that time. Not a single grin or even a smirk. I enjoy Demetri Martin's stand up (check him out on YouTube) but this just fell flat.
Martin is better at writing than performing, I think. Plenty of laughs.
I was amused. It's a collection of short pieces and drawings. Basically if you like Martin's standup you'll probably like this book.
The best part of this is that it's read by the author. He's a comedian, if you don't know who he is. And he's known for making hilarious observations and usually using an easel and paper to illustrate some of said observations. Some parts of this had me zoning out and didn't really entertain me.
