I only bought this on a whim, as it was clearence at the book store for $5. for the price I would say it is worth it, though it really does not add much to the series that is not already addressed in her other books.

This book was several authors with short stories. I loved some and did not really care for others. But overall I found a couple of authors I will check out later. I am adding them to my read pile. I went back and forth between 3 and 4 stars and finally decided overall I enjoyed the variety of storie...

I love reading anthologies, so I never really got why a lot of romance readers don't care much for anthologies. Well, I tend to read fantasy and horror anthologies for the most part. This is probably one of the first bigger romance ones I've read. I get it now! It gets pretty dull to read sex scene ...

Is this the best collection of fairy tale retellings? No. The book is about half good and half bad. Stand out stories include:"Shall We Dance" by C. S. Friedman. This is story has a very good line about dung. Honest."Bitter Fruit" by Rosemary Edgehill. The type of spooky story you have to read...

I'm normally not much for short stories, but this was a fun read! I've never read any of these authors before this, but I enjoyed each and every story. Each story is about a teen witch (or witches) that attend Salem Township Public High School #4 (or that's what the mundanes know it as), known to wi...

This is a 12 story anthology, so I'll write my reviews of the stories as I go. Music Hath Charms by Tanya Huff, cute story. I like this story because unlike most of these with them finding true love at the end, it's true lust. This was twin sirens who are about to be enslaved but a woman who want...

I had one of my bouts of epic insomnia last night, during which I read this collection. This was a mistake, because I think I kept reading in hopes of finding JUST ONE story that was worth my time in this whole godforsaken mess. I eventually quit and left the last story unread because I paged throug...

I love Marjorie M. Liu's story. Every time I read one of her short stories I am taken with her style; beautiful prose, emotionally gritty, and original. In her story, Minotaur In Stone, she does a great job of using the Minotaur and labyrinth myth into a stereotypical paranormal-romance story. Sh...
