I am a storyteller. I like to use humor and suspense to put a "human face" on life's struggles. The characters that I develop in my books live next door. There are the people struggling to forgive others and themselves. Then there are the power brokers that fear not being in control. The married man or woman that live in constant fear that their sexual secrets will be revealed. Racism and bigotry are portrayed by colorful characters. "I laughed and cried at the same time." "I couldn't put the book down." These and other reviews of my writings have given me the greatest satisfaction.As an Episcopal priest for the past forty years I've served some of the largest congregations in our Church. It has been my privilege to have many notable citizens in my congregations. These have included former President and Mrs. George H. W. Bush and their families. Secretary of State James Baker. The infamous baby doctor Benjamin Spock. Secretary of Education Richard Riley and Supreme Court nominee Clement Haynsworth.
