The lack of world building could make comprehending this difficult for anyone who hasn't read Red Queen. It's a good story, an interesting one. Nice romance....

This was a nice little novella about Cals parents. There were some parts in there about Julian and the evil queen that shall not be named. This story filled in a lot of missing pieces that I had often wondered about.
