This historical romance was just so-so. The beginning and end had some exciting action but the rest moved slow with a stubborn hero and characters ruminating about everything. I skimmed a lot. Highlander Cole is sent by his sister-in-law to pickup Ellenor in the England, a country he hates.

I just can't finish this series. Too lovey dovey and full of romance cliches. Women are too innocent, even for a historical romance.
