Unabridged - read by Nigel Davenport.Buggr - a crippled audio file, and I was nicely into it too.

Another masterful adventure thriller from Desmond Bagley. I love the author's smooth writing style and expert plotting.

Nifty Cold War thriller set in Iceland. Lots of action and a nicely done ending.

It takes more than a decent talent to write a book where all the major characters stay holed up in a ditch for half the time waiting for a hurricane to pass. But Bagley not only managed to pull it off, he made sure that you would be on the edge of your seat while reading it.

A dismal effort from an otherwise a good thriller writer. The plot starts in the 2nd gear and remains the same throughout. In my opinion, Wyatt's Hurricane and The Golden Keel are his better books (I have read only 4 of his books).

A good yarn until the very gratuitous ending. It added nothing to the overall plot.

You have found a treasure containing 3 million pounds of gold. The problem is how to take it across the ocean without somebody noticing? You make the keel of your boat with that gold, of course! A good thriller by Desmond Bagley. One of his best.
