When his wife dies in Morocco, the investigator on the case enlists the help of a woman on the verge of suicide to impersonate Mrs. Betterton and travel in her place. Can she pull it off? Will she find the missing scientists at the end of her journey? This story is based on the real-life espionage case in the 1950s of two scientists who turned against their countries to work for Communist Russia.
