I have enjoyed this series. The characters are easy to relate to and Sadie is a tough cookie with a big heart. As always, these books remain a quick read because Wendy Roberts ends each chapter with a mini-cliff hanger. Each time I say to myself, "I'll just read one chapter and then ..." I always...
I think the plot is "darker" than the first one. I like the fact that the author keeps track of what happened the year before -- although at the same time, I feel like I'm missing many milestones since the event in this book is told exactly a year after.
