3 1/2 stars. I enjoyed the story and felt it was the beginning of a series with lots of potential. I was left wanting to know more about the characters.
I have to put this one on the back burner to. But this story has caught my interest enough that I have asked the library to put me on the list for the rest of the series.

Can't figure out why I like these books. They are simple and sometimes slow moving and there is a lot of 'telling' vs 'showing' and there are some very melodramatic moments in the story...yet...there's something that makes me want to find out what happens to Margier and Leesil.
