I just couldn't finish this. I got 51% into the story and by this point the two had barely reunited but there was so much angst. It felt like the friends were too involved or involved in the wrong way. I didn't like that reconciliation was already bias before it started.

Way to short. The beginning of the book had a nice steady pace but the end seems to be rushed. Would have been much better if it was long and there was more to the back ground stories.
