My name is Diana Lee and I began low carbing years ago. I found it a pleasant and efficient way to loose weight but at that time there weren't any substitutes for those "white flour" foods I had once loved. This is how I came to create recipes and how my first cookbook came to be. Many new ingredients have come out since my first book was written and can probably be used instead of the old and I would be happy to help anyone if they would like to discuss substitutions. I must say, having these goodies is what as enabled me to stay a low carber for all these years and not feel deprived. My latest book, Cookies for the Low Carb Life Style uses the new ingredients and makes it easier to have what you need on hand.
