Diana grew up in Zimbabwe, later moving to America. After college she worked as a journalist, a freelance writer, and spent 12 years as an environmental writer with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. During her career, she received several awards for her writing, including an Outstanding Author award in 1990. In 2008, Diana published Lumpy the Elephant, a children's picture book, and in 2012 her first novel, Shadows along the Zambezi. She has four daughters, a stepson, and eight grandchildren. Today, she and her husband live near Atlanta, Georgia. She was recently interviewed by well-known author, Trish Jackson.
