I really like these cold case stories, and this one was intriguing; Constable Hugh Watterson brings Bessie a cold case of a man's body found twenty years ago on the beach and after looking into the few men who left around the same time, only two are unaccounted for, so which one was the man on found...

This one didn't have as strong of a plot as previous books, but it was still enjoyable and although the culprits in the mystery were known, the reasons were a surprise. But it's always fun to catch up with the Markham sisters and a great read to curl up with for an evening.

While this is a great cozy series this one was just.....okay. I struggled to get through the first half of the book (between Shelly's uncharacteristic insecurity and Fenella's man problems, I was a bit bored) but once the action picked up, I enjoyed it a lot more.
