When I was two years old my mother caught me scribbling on the wall of my bedroom. She made sure to supply me with plenty of crayons and paper, and I've been scribbling ever since, both writing and illustrating children's books.To date I have illustrated over fifty published books for children, and three of my own stories have been published. I feel blessed to be doing the thing I've dreamed about since I was a child, and I hope to continue creating stories and illustrations for a long time to come.In addition to working on children's stories, I enjoy gathering with Christian friends to study and worship God, reading, watching movies and eating out with my husband, Walter, getting together with my two grown daughters, Leana and Melanie, practicing tai chi and exercising, gardening, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings here in southwest Virginia.
