Diane's books are set in Regency England, the time of Jane Austen and the setting of Georgette Heyer, the same setting as Julia Quinn, Mary Balogh, Ann Gracie, Grace Burrows, Mary Jo Putney, and others. Diane's Regency Romances often feature the seamier side of the Regency. Her special love is for the Napoleonic War and its heroic soldiers.
