I received this for my birthday today. It's a lovely book with great illustrations. It's basically a compilation of illustrations from earlier Golden Books with little upbeat messages attached.

This version is absolutely AWFUL. They've taken one of my favorite stories and "ghettoed" it. It was just painful.
