Diane René Christian founded the AN-YA Project in 2012, after publishing her debut novel, An-Ya and Her Diary. As the founder of the AN-YA Project, Christian has edited/published An-Ya and her Diary: Reader & Parent Guide as well as co-edited/published Perpetual Child: Adult Adoptee Anthology, Dismantling the Stereotype. Dear Wonderful You, Letters to Adopted & Fostered Youth (fall 2014) will be the third book Christian publishes under the AN-YA Project umbrella. Christian's family tree has been shaped by adoption in many ways. Her paternal grandfather and her father were both adopted. She is also an adoptive mom to two children.Christian was raised playing in the fields of Valley Forge, PA and now resides in the Pacific Northwest.
