The mid-point of the series. I liked this northern setting, and thought that Flanagan made good use of Alyss, and her strength and loyalty.I hated the whole hypnotism thing.Having Horace and Will back together again - and on their own - was outstanding. Sniff, sniff, they're so grown up.
