There was quite a bit of profanity, but, other than that, this was a very good book. The writing was great, the story was engaging, and the characters felt real, all of which is typical for McDevitt. I don't know if I'd call it "big-vision" or "large-scale" like "Publishers Weekly" apparently did,...
An interesting idea but, to be honest, fairly boring in the telling. Sorry, Jack, this one didn't do it for me.
