This is Part One of a serial, and an intriguing start. It's a good blend of science fiction and mystery with a touch of humor. It's kept my interest enough to buy the second episode.
Did Not FinishI gave it about 40 minutes and was not into it. I wasn't paying attention and he really overused the word said. The premise sounds interesting and I have been meaning to read Old Man's War so I think I'll start with that and pick this up as a book later.

I had a little trouble getting in to this, but once I did, I was hooked. I'm a big fan of Scalzi and his humor, and this was a great start of this new serial. I was just sad that I wasn't near wi-fi and couldn't download the next chapter right away!
