Steamy reads with a dollop of magic, mystery and hot... hot men
This first in the series was excellent. Fun, fresh heroine, great story telling, just an all round good read. Pity the rest of the series drops off in quality so dramatically, never living up to the high bar set by this first book.

A quite amusing story of an actress who gets pulled into a mystery when the woman she understudies disappears in the middle of the show. Why and how she disappears is unknown. A mysterious man turns up and enlists her help. Now it was a fun read but occasionally I felt like shouting at the charac...

Laura Resnick is a recent discovery for me Fallen from Grace Fallen from Grace suffers from a really bad cover and not enough buzz -- I think the cover turns readers away (it shouldn't, the story is great). Disappeari...

I figured this would be an entertaining story since I’ve read blurbs about it being a paranormal screwball comedy with a magical twist. I've never read any...

Jennifer Crusie describes the series as "“A paranormal screwball comedy adventure. Light, happy, fantastically funny!" ... and I CANNOT AGREE MORE!! It has been awhile since I read a book that is so deliciously funny, I chuckle like crazy, even get stomachache because of it. This book combines a fei...

Book 2 was much better. This one might have been more entertaining if I didn't already know who had done it, but I liked the mix and characters in book 2.
