Excellent writing, great plot and although I have not seen Doctor Who with the newest Doctor, the characterization in this book is so interesting that it makes me want to see the show.

Gives the new doctor a side-eye look. I'm not sure how I feel about you anymore! On the other hand, this book was full of killer robots. "Now I was traveling through a barricade of lethal robots." "'You got a robot nanny to carry you about now? Seriously? Because of your hurty toe...

It lacked a lot of the spirit of the characters. Clara, as always, was pretty bland like she is in the show, which is to be expected. Unfortunately, so is The Doctor. He lacked any of his typical quirks and attitude as observed with Capaldi on the show. I will say, however, that the plot was intrigu...

But among my countless ebooks did I find this book that I had requested from NetGalley and since I felt that I neede...

(I got a copy courtesy of NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review.)Third 12th Doctor novel I read, and this one was quite surprising, in a way I hadn't expected. It's narrated from the point of view of a secondary character, and not in the usual third person POV I've seen used in the other DW no...

Other Doctor Who novels I've read and reviewed: * 12th Doctor: Silhouette (Killer Origami) and The Crawling Terror (Giant Insects). * 11th Doctor: Touched by an Angel (Weeping Angels) ...

Scroll down for the review in English.Esta novela cambia el punto de vista habitual. Normalmente vemos la acción desde el punto de vista del Doctor, el compañero o quien sea que les está ayudando. Éste no es el caso aquí. Toda la historia está narrada desde el punto de vista del director de la prisi...
