Don Donovan worked in advertising 42 years. Since 1990 he has written and illustrated (with watercolours or photography) about 25 books including two novels. He writes for magazines and newspapers and occasionally appears as a commentator on Radio New Zealand. He lives at Albany, New Zealand with his RADA trained actress wife, Patricia. He has two daughters and four grand-children.
