"Reading should be fun, not work," says Don Hepler, long-time author, "and I write to entertain. My primary intention is to go after the 'gee whiz!' and let the 'Golly, I didn't know that!' just happen. Nowhere is this philosophy more evident than in his latest additions to the wonderful world of Kindle books, a big, sprawling miniseries called FRONTIER JUSTICE TRILOGY. Book One: INDIAN TROUBLE, Book Two: BALD HEADED WOMAN, and Book Three: OLD MEN YOUNG GIRLS AND A BEAR. This three book series, well over a thousand pages, follows the adventures of several interrelated characters, both white and Native American over the course of several years after the Civil War. The paths of the characters intersect back and forth across the prairie, forming a rich tapestry of danger, romance and rugged survival. This Western saga is a must-read. And now, something about Don Hepler by Don Hepler: I was first published in 1988 by Avalon Books out of New York City. It was a stinker of a book called A KISS FOR THE CAPTAIN. About that time, Louis L'Amour made the world a poorer place when he passed away and in an effort to honor that giant of a man I turned my hand to the Western genre. Since then, my credits include: WESTERN VENGEANCE, WALKER'S MISSION, YELLOW KNIFE, MARTHA, VIRGINIA, KAPKAP, ABLE, JOSHUA, and MASSACRE, some of which are also available in the Kindle version. I now live in an over 55 resort in Arizona with my beloved wife, Sue. I have two sons who have long been out in the world, and I am still mourning a cat named Hiway who recently joined Louis in the great beyond. I am particularly proud of the FRONTIER JUSTICE TRILOGY and hope you enjoy the series as much as I enjoyed writing it.
