I was born and raised in the Dallas area. I spent several years as a Peace Officer in Mesquite, Texas after a brief period in security at Baylor Hospital. My wife and I moved to Colorado in 2012 and I decided to put my energy and time into firefighting for our local community. I enjoy shooting, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. I'm interested in government and history as well as fast cars or anything four wheel drive. I own a small business with my brother and my love for writing goes back to my days in elementary school. I have written several short stories and a few pieces for some internet sites as well. My first novel, The Last Countrymen, is a dream realized after many, many years. I hope to have several other books one day and plan to write for a long time to come.
