I love my Pigeon books and Mo Willems. I would love to do an activity with my first graders on all of the books. I would also love to have ALL of Mo Willems books in my classroom, he is an amazing writer and illustrator. I would love to have a student do an Author research on him.

I can definitely see the value of this book - particularly for kiddos who fight bedtime. I have never met a child yet who hasn't adored these books...and I adore reading them out loud. Such fun! ETA 9/29/13: to add the other books in the series and to update the review.
Pigeons are just constant trouble all day long, sort of like kids. And funny, likewise.
Following the same recipe a successful book used doesn't always work as well. This one's only just so-so. Although, I like the idea of staying up late to have a hotdog party.
