Perhaps not quite as entertaining as Allison's first collection, but still a good strong read. The stories are a bit darker and more introspective than those in "Whatever You Do, Don't Run," and there aren't so many "nutter" tourists to lighten things up.
I liked this author's first book a little better simply because there was a stronger focus on animals. This second book is very good, but there are a lot more stories about mechanical things (land mines, automobiles) and situations involving other humans (tourists, local authorities). There are al...
