This is about a young boy and his dog who wake up in the middle of the night to a storm. It was okay. Not a bad book, but I didn't really enjoy it as much as the other books I've read by this author.
Moss Coat is a cross between Cinderella and King Lear with a dash of Cap O' Rushes (and like tales) set in the 'old South'. Nice narrative flow with lovely illustrations!
