Definitely glad I picked it up, but I have a bit of trouble giving it more than three stars--this is a must-read for any completist, but I found about half the stories to be fairly rocky.
I enjoyed the novel of my favourite Star Wars movie. Some movie-to-book adaptations are terrible, but this one was enjoyable and told the story well.
It was really interesting to read this after the prequels came out. The first thing I noticed - the prequels don't match up to the back story in this book. One of the best movies out there but this book added nothing new to the story. It's like reading a script but without all those lines saying who is talking.
