Doris Thomas is a German author. Most of her books are children's books. She wants to entertain with nice stories but at the same time submit some important facts about animals and nature. This way children learn much and are getting sensitized for environmental problems. She illustrates her stories by herself with own artwork. She uses pencils, water colours or oil colours. In Germany some of her books are famous already, like the adventures of the free orca Zabu.
