Knowing he’s loved can make any man fly.Fifteen years ago, Ben Warren was a wakeboarding champion: king of big air, ballsy tricks, and boned grabs. Until a career-ending injury left him broken in ways he still has no hope of fixing. Now he takes his thrills where he can get them, and tries not to le...

This is my second Vanessa North book. I can't figure out why when North writes something that normally drives me crazy she makes it work in a big way. The main characters fell for each other very soon after they meet, my pet peeve. But North made them work for a relationship that was honest and they...

The conflict felt a little artificially manufactured to me
(why the hell would someone break up with someone they care about because they don't want to have surgery because they have problems with addiction?! I couldn't imagine someone actually doing that, out of the blue)
and ...

I don't surf or wake-board, so a lot of the terminology was lost on me. I'm also extreeeeeeemely late with this review. Sorry, Vanessa. I did love the setting of this novel. I loved the characters. Both Ben and Davis were fully fleshed out, both with their own hang-ups, but working well as a coupl...

I will be one of the minorities -- among the glittery 4-5 stars that seem to be the the major opinion. I didn't have issue with the writing, but I did have issues with plot and characters. I think it was similar case with another of Ms. North's story (The Lonely Drop) which also garnered rave review...

What a sweet book this was!I am usually not one for books that deal with sports of any kind, but the wakeboarding in this book was never the main focus. And even when they were wakeboarding, it was never confusing. It was all kept very simple, yet realistic. A sweet romance with incredibly cute men....

This was an awesome hot little gem. My only complaint - it wasn't long enough!Loved the flirty banterLoved the dirty talkLoved Davis was an unexpected top, despite those blushes Loved their initial communication skills, until they didn't communicate. However it all worked out in the end. That's what ...

I received my copy from Riptide Publishing through Love Romances and More This story took me by surprise. It is told in Ben’s voice and at first he appears to be rather gruff and not altogether nice. In fact for a short while I was worried he would be too self-obsessed and opinionated for me to ta...

Warning: this book may cause addiction to Monster energy drinks, cherry Sprite, and/or Cheetos. ...or that could just be me.I love Ben so hard. So. Hard, you guys. And Davis is utterly sweet and charming. There's a May/December thing happening here, but as often happens with these things, the younge...
