The story selection is outstanding. There isn't a stinker in here. The Halloween reminiscences are pretty uneven. Some authors obviously put some heart and effort into it and others seemed to treat it as an uninspiring chore.
At the start of this thriller, featuring a gun runner sent on what should be a milk run, I really enjoyed the author's voice and the frantic action. The middle bogged down though and, by the end, my suspension of disbelief had run its course.

Housing Works Bookstore Fair! $1 books! I was told that this might be a good way to tell, without too much work, whether I'd enjoy horror, and Mr. King specifically, as I have little-to-no experience with either.
Excellent collection of things zombie. There should be a zombie story here to fit anyone.Outstanding were works by Brite, Schow and Lansdale but the entire book is impressive with no real duds.
