The Rev. Dr. Soucy served in the U.S. Navy as a plane captain in VF-84. A serious line-of-duty injury early in 1971 forced an early retirement. He subsequently studied for ministry and earned his B.A.Th.; M.A.R.S.; M.Div.; and D.Min degrees while serving local churches in the eastern U.S. and Canada with his wife, Etta. Together they have four children and nine grandchildren. He is an adjunct faculty member at Berkshire Christian College where he designs courses in ministry and theology and teaches Bible Survey, Theology, and preaching. His first novel "High Above the River", was a bestseller.
