Oh how I wish this kind of anti-romance was being written for my age group. At least, that's what I thought when I had only read this first volume in a quartet that goes quickly downhill. I'm not even sure I'm going to give this book to my niece at all.
Good for light read. Characterization is interesting, Cimonere is a rebellious princess without annoying attitude. Old fairy-tale-like fantasy which brought up good memories from childhood. Highly recommended.
