I'm a big Jayne Ann Krentz fan. [Going off-topic a tick. I was chatting with another author a while back and we were both enthusing at Jayne Ann Krentz's style and Dick Francis's books and, most recently, Ilona Andrews' "Clean Sweep". Thinking about it, the common denominator is all of them are g...

Gwen Frazier is a psychic counsellor, she can look into dreams and see the underlying issues. She is regarded as somewhat eccentric and she returns to a small town in the Oregon mountains to wind up the estate of her friend who suddenly died. When she arrives, she's convinced that this isn't just ...

A little bit meh, a little bit OK. Pretty mediocre romance with a paranormal suspense plot twist to flavor the blandness. The book served its purpose: to provide a few hours of escape from real life. Reads easy, as all this author's books.

Another good installment in the Dark Legacy series, mostly due to the hero. I just adore JAK/AQ/JC heroes, don’t you?Well, it wasn’t just the hero, believe me. The whole story worked. The instant connection between Gwen and Judson, Judson’s dreams (the prologue was chilling and a great way of pullin...

This review also posted at A Bookish CompulsionJayne Ann Krentz is my all-time favorite author and reading a book from her is always a treat. That said, I must admit to the fact that her Dark Legacy series is not turning out to be one of my favorites. Whether it is the forgone conclusion of the co...
